Whop charges 2.7% + $0.30 per domestic card sale. Komerza charges 0% on every plan, with no product, team or revenue cap on any plan, and stores clearing over €200,000 a month. Here is the honest comparison, including where Whop is still the better choice.

What Whop costs

Whop began as a marketplace for access to communities, and grew into a full commerce platform with a strong Discord and membership focus. Its headline transaction rate is the lowest of any platform on this list. It also publishes the longest fee schedule of any of them, and the headline number is not what most sellers end up paying.

Add 1.5% for international cards and 1% where currency conversion applies. Whop's fee page also lists separate charges for payouts (from $2.50 for next-day ACH up to 5% + $1.00 for crypto), disputes ($15.00 each), tax collection (2%), affiliate processing (1.25%) and fraud tooling.

No payout, dispute, affiliate or fraud-tooling fees on any plan

Built for scale

Built for everyone. Engineered for the top end.

Globally, Komerza sellers do over €2 million a month, and the largest single stores clear over €200,000 a month. There is no product cap, no team cap and no revenue ceiling on any plan, so the store you start with is the store you scale, without a migration in the middle.

Where Whop stops

Whop is built around discovery inside its own marketplace, and its fee schedule is built for that: every payout, dispute, affiliate sale and fraud check carries a charge. A large store on its own domain ends up paying, per transaction, for a marketplace it is not in. Komerza is the other model: your domain, your processors, your money settling to you, and stores clearing over €200,000 a month on a flat plan.

What it costs you

A percentage and a flat monthly fee cross over at some point, and where that point falls depends entirely on your numbers. Put your own in and see what Whop and Komerza each cost at that volume.

When Whop is the better choice

  • You want the marketplace. Whop has an audience already on the platform, and being findable there is worth real money if your product suits it.
  • You are selling community or membership access first and files second. That is what Whop was built around.
  • Your volume is low enough that 2.7% is genuinely less than a monthly plan.

When to switch to Komerza

  • You have read Whop's full fee schedule. The headline 2.7% sits alongside payout fees, a $15 dispute fee, 1.25% affiliate processing and 2% for tax collection; a realistic all-in rate is well above the number on the tin.
  • You want your own storefront on your own domain, built with an AI builder and editable down to the code, rather than a presence inside somebody else's marketplace.
  • You want your affiliate programme, fraud checks, dispute tracking and payouts included rather than charged per transaction.
  • You want to hold your own money. Komerza connects your own processors and self-custody crypto so funds settle to you directly, with no payout queue and no payout fee.

Common questions

What people ask when they are weighing Whop against Komerza, answered with the same figures as the table above.

Whop's fee documentation lists 2.7% + $0.30 for domestic card transactions, plus 1.5% for international cards and 1% where currency conversion applies. Separately it lists payout fees from $2.50 (next-day ACH) up to 5% + $1.00 (crypto), $15.00 per dispute, 2% for tax collection, 1.25% for affiliate processing, and per-transaction charges for 3DS and fraud detection. There is no monthly subscription. Verified on 5 September 2026 from docs.whop.com/fees.

At the headline rate and at low volume, yes. Once you add payout, dispute, affiliate and tax fees, and once your monthly revenue is large enough that a percentage exceeds a flat plan, the comparison reverses. Add up the fees that apply to how you actually sell rather than comparing headline rates.

No. Komerza gives you a storefront on your own domain and expects you to bring your own traffic. If discovery is the main thing you want from a platform, Whop offers something Komerza does not.

No. Komerza charges the monthly plan price and nothing per transaction, per payout or per dispute. Your payment processor's own charges still apply, as they do on any platform.
